Authors who publish with this journal agree to license the submitted work under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY SA 4.0) license.
This license meets the Freedom Defined definition of a free cultural work and supports the principle of Gold Open Access. The license allows users to:
- Share the material by copying and redistributing the material in any medium or format
- Adapt the material — remix, transform, and build upon the material
The license also permits commercial usage but all usage is under the following terms:
- Attribution — Users of the material must give appropriate credit to the author/source, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. They may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the licensor endorses them or their use.
- ShareAlike — If users remix, transform, or build upon the material, they must distribute their contributions under the same license as the original.
Authors are able to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal’s published version of the work (e.g. post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgement of its initial publication in this journal. Authors are permitted and encouraged to post their work online (e.g. in institutional repositories or on their website).
